In that case I'm guessing this would be solved when Swift 5.1 comes out with lsp integrated in the toolkit so we can use it easily in VS Code etc. For starters Appcode forced me to choose between a folder group or something else (both OS X specific), then it refused to move my file into that folder. Then I decided to refactor my project by adding a new folder and moving a source file inside. I wanted to do a server side project but CLion doesn't work on OS X and sourcekit lsp is still in beta so I used Appcode. I have been using CLion for about 6 months now and I would like to deploy on iOS and from CLion I cant, I do need to use AppCode (opening a generated xcodeproj from the same CMakeLists using the -GXcode generator) just for that purpose only. This framework is bundled with Xcode: /Platforms/atform/Developer/Library/PrivateFrameworks/iPhoneSimulatorRemoteClient.Can you be a little more specific about what you are doing? How are you compiling? To launch simulator it uses a private Apple framework ( otool -L simlauncher) : (compatibility version 1.0.0, current version 12.0.0) Simlauncher is a non documented / not friendly mach-o binary. Is there a way to set the path for dylibs before running a command? This looks promising: ĪppCode use a special wrapper to do this, that you noticed in its console : /Applications//bin/simlauncher 4.3 debug iphone When I run them directly, they look for those in '/'. All these binaries refer to dylibs present in the simulator platform's root. Now I suppose it's just a matter of sorting the commands according to the pid and executing them.
